A 1972 BUICK RIVIERA 455 BOAT-TAIL COUPE!! West Coast Classics are
proud to present an exceptionally rare example of this virtually
completely original 1972 Buick Riviera coupe with a highly desirable
factory correct 'Sandalwood' color code 50 repaint, dark green interior,
455 4 barrel V8 engine, air conditioning (not working), power windows,
power steering and with only 110K original miles! Finished in a
highly professional matching color repaint some eight years ago and with
it's original dark green interior with virtually flawless dashboard,
steering wheel, carpets and seats, it's original spare wheel and jack
and only the original wheels having been replaced with 'American'
polished rims. Recently purchased by most recent southern
California owner from original owner with the floor boards, trunk and
all the typically rust-prone areas completely solid and always rust
free. The car has had no major accidents of any kind - obviously a
garaged and cherished driver since new. The car looks extremely
impressive with it's professional repaint in the original color and the
interior is also in virtually flawless condition throughout. The
dashboard, the headliner and the seats and carpets are all in very fine
condition. All the chrome-work is exceptional with no pitting and the
original spare wheel with it's jack is located in the trunk. The
'455' 4 barrel V8 engine is extremely strong and powerful and this
particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be
fully appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road
wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will
give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The car has power
steering, power windows, power brakes, air conditioning and it's
original AM/FM radio with an 8 track cassette player. The suspension is
tight and smooth and the steering is excellent. All the power options
are working as they should apart from the A/C which we have not yet
investigated as to the cause of the problem. The transmission shifts
smoothly through the gears, there are no noticeable oil leaks and the
temperature always remains cool. This is a rare opportunity to own a
great daily driving and never abused example of an always garaged and
rust and accident free 1972 Buick Riviera in very fine condition
throughout with it's original 455 V8 engine! Although obviously not a
concourse or completely original example, this remains a very rare and
highly desirable and collectible unabused example of one of the
