Replica. Built Using McLaren's M6 Drawings. Could Not Be Duplicated for the Asking Price. Constructed from M6 McLaren drawings and nearly identical in every way to the sole factory M6GT built by Bruce McLaren in 1969. Titled as a 1969 McLaren and currently registered in California for road use. Aluminum Donovan dry sump small block bored and stroked to 400 c.i. with Trick Flow aluminum head, four 48 IDA down draft Webers, Weaver 3 stage oil pump, Eagle rods, and MSD electronics. Produces approximately 575hp. ZF 5-speed transaxle as was fitted to the original M6BGT. M6 replica moncoque by Can-Am expert Harold Drinkwater. M6 suspension, Koni coil over shocks with Eibach springs, and 17" wheels with McLaren-style centers. Period accurate Hurst Airheart brake calipers with vented discs. Fitted with A/C. Just finished and in stunning, as-new condition above and below. An eligible entrant to SCCA vintage, and HSR historic racing venues. An incredibly accurate Can-Am car for the street that could not be duplicated for the asking price.
